Fees and Assessment Guidelines for HISFLO Certification:

Application Process:

Candidates must submit their bio-data and resume, highlighting their experience-based achievements, along with the prescribed processing fee for the particular certification they wish to apply for in the Hospitality sector.

Resume Evaluation:

The bio-data and resume will be sent to three members of the Certification Board for evaluation.

The Chairman of HIS (HISFLO Certification Board) may choose any three members of the HIS to evaluate the resume of any applicant.

Certification Approval:

Based on the evaluation and recommendations of the Certification Board, the Board of Governors may either:

Grant the certification directly.

Prescribe a pre-certification assessment as a prerequisite for certification.

Assessment Categories:

HIS offers ten hospitality division fellowship assessment categories. Candidates must carefully select the category they belong to.

After selecting the appropriate category, candidates should click the Register Now button, fill in all the mandatory fields, and press Submit.

Payment and Assessment Instructions:

After completing the registration, candidates will receive a Payment and Assessment guidelines email, which will contain detailed instructions on how to proceed with payment and the assessment process.

Assessment Process:

Upon receiving the assessment login credentials, candidates can begin their HISFLO certification exam at their own preferred time.

Exam and Grading:

After completing the online assessment, candidates’ performance will be graded for evaluation.

If the candidate meets the basic criteria required for certification:

# An E-certificate, Professional Profile Page, and Fellowship Profile Page will be made available on the HIS website with online verification within 7 days.

# The physical certificate will be dispatched by post within 10 days (depending on the candidate's country).

Reimbursement and Retakes:

If a candidate does not meet the basic criteria for certification:

# The candidate will receive a full reimbursement of the processing fee within 7-10 working days.

There are no limitations on the number of attempts for the HISFLO certification. Candidates are free to attempt the exam again at any time.

This process ensures a structured and flexible certification process, allowing candidates to progress at their own pace while receiving support throughout their journey.
